The project

Funded by the “Investment Innovation Plans” action of the Region of Central Macedonia, within the framework of the “Central Macedonia 2014-2020” Operational Program, the Philoxenia index project attempted to create a solution for evaluating and monitoring hotel performance.
Goals
Targeted and accurate customer satisfaction research is a big part of all modern tourism related enterprise, and more specifically hotels. This project concerns the collection of hotel reviews and the presentation of the results of this collection, in a simple and useful environment. With the aim of increasing competition.
Deliverables
In collaboration with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, an innovative hotel rating metric was developed. It is computed with reviews by customers after their stay. To monitor the metric, we created 3 applications for different platforms (Web, Windows, Android), and an API for their coordination.
